TiO2 supplier for Turkey
Turkey is a major regional TiO2 hub — domestic paint and plastic industries plus re-export to Middle East and Balkans.
Market context
Turkey consumes approximately 120,000 tons of TiO2 annually. Its position as a regional manufacturing center for the Middle East, North Africa, and Balkans makes it a critical hub. Turkish paint and plastic exports flow into Russia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, and Eastern European markets.
Turkey has no domestic TiO2 production. Imports come primarily from China (50–60%), with significant volumes from EU producers (Venator, Kronos) and Russia (Sibresurs).

Logistics
Long ocean transit (30–35 days) is the practical constraint. Istanbul Ambarli is the largest container port. Mersin serves Southern Turkey and re-export to Middle East.
Regulations & import
Turkey imposes a 5.5% import duty on TiO2 (HS 3206.11.00). REACH compliance is voluntary but increasingly demanded by end-customers in EU-export goods. We provide full REACH letters with shipments.
