SEMITI A200 is a sulfate-process anatase tuned for rubber and synthetic fiber applications — white tire sidewalls, EPDM weather strips, conveyor belts with white compounds, and PET/PA/PP fiber delustering. The grade is supplied with minimal inorganic surface treatment, optimized for compatibility with rubber and polymer-melt processing.

For tire makers and rubber compounders, the soft crystal hardness of anatase is the key advantage — it doesn't wear extruder screws and dies the way rutile does at the high mechanical shear of rubber compounding. For synthetic fiber producers, the fine particle size and clean melt-rheology of SEMITI A200 enables consistent delustering at 0.3–0.5% loading without breaking fibers at high draw ratios.

Common questions

Why use anatase for tire sidewall instead of rutile?+
Two reasons: (1) anatase has softer crystal so doesn't wear the Banbury mixer and extruder dies, (2) anatase has a slightly bluer undertone that better matches the pure-white aesthetic of premium tire sidewall styling. Outdoor durability is a non-issue because tire sidewall is replaced when the tire is replaced — anatase chalking isn't a concern over 5-year tire life.
