SEMITI 2190 is the premium chloride-process rutile in our plastics lineup, matched against Kronos 2190. It is positioned for high-performance plastic compounds where the formulator needs the best simultaneously: maximum thermal stability for engineering plastics, maximum UV stability for outdoor service, and minimum impact on physical properties (tensile, impact).

The premium triple-layer surface treatment (alumina + silica + organic) provides exceptional outdoor durability for PVC profiles (15–20 year service rating) and is also the recommended grade for high-end engineering plastic applications such as automotive interior trim, premium appliance white, and high-end consumer electronics housings.

SEMITI 2190 is more expensive than SEMITI 2310 (universal) or SEMITI 2160 (outdoor PVC) and is justified only where the application demands the highest performance profile.
