Sample Program

SEMITI maintains an open sample program for prospects evaluating substitution from Western suppliers or new customers qualifying our grades.

Sample sizes available:

• Standard sample: 5 kg (single 5 kg bag) — for initial lab evaluation
• Extended sample: 25 kg (one 25 kg bag) — for production trial batch
• Pilot sample: 100 kg (paid sample) — for scale-up validation
• Pre-FCL sample: 1000 kg (LCL shipment, paid) — for full pilot production batch

For most prospects, the 5 kg sample is sufficient for initial lab evaluation. 25 kg sample is requested for production-scale trial. 100 kg and above are paid samples (not free) but at reduced commercial price.

• Sample TiO2 in original 25 kg paper bag or smaller sealed container
• Full batch Certificate of Analysis
• Safety Data Sheet
• Technical Data Sheet
• Recommended dispersion / application procedure
• Specific recommendations based on your application

For larger samples or LCL ocean shipments:

100 kg and above samples ship via LCL ocean (more economical than air for larger volumes). Customer typically covers ocean freight cost on samples this size. Time: 2–6 weeks depending on destination.

Technical support during qualification:

We provide active technical support throughout the qualification process: - Lab batch design recommendations - Dispersion process optimization - Comparison testing against your reference TiO2 - Production-scale trial planning - Troubleshooting if results are unexpected

For premium qualifications (automotive OEM, pharmaceutical), our technical team can engage in extended dialogue and on-site visits where geographically feasible.

Customer reference connections:

For customers in markets where we have established business, we can sometimes facilitate technical discussions with similar customers who've completed SEMITI qualification. This provides peer validation and reduces qualification risk.

Sample cost structure:

• Standard 5 kg sample: free for legitimate prospects
• 25 kg sample: free for prospects with realistic FCL pipeline (we may evaluate based on market and prospect profile)
• 100 kg+ paid sample: priced at ~50% of FCL unit cost, recoverable from first FCL purchase

The intent of the free sample program is to enable rapid technical validation without commercial commitment. We invest in samples knowing that successful qualifications convert to multi-year supply relationships.
